Ohio’s 10th District Court of Appeals is set to hear arguments next week in appeals filed by cities looking to block centralized collection of municipal net profits taxes.

Ohio businesses with a taxable year that begins on Aug. 1 and that want to file their 2019 municipal net profit tax return with the Ohio Department of Taxation must register by midnight, Oct. 1.
The IRS on Aug. 22 announced a change in the format of tax transcripts and provided a preview of proposed changes in the methods of distributing tax transcripts to taxpayers and their authorized third parties, such as tax practitioners.
