McCrate, DeLaet & Co.

Our accounting firm was founded in November 1947 by Mark Beckman and Otto Hilt. In November 1953, Charles McCrate joined the firm. During the 1960s John DeLaet became a partner in the firm. The firm's name of McCrate, DeLaet and Co. was established after the death of Hilt in July 1966. The firm has grown steadily over the years and currently has over 25 employees.

Our service area includes Auglaize, Darke, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, and Shelby Counties with our main office located in Sidney, Ohio. We also have office space available for use by appointment in Cassella, New Knoxville, and Versailles.

We have specialists in taxation (corporate and individual), accounting, auditing, business advisory services, and have experience in various industries including, but not limited to, agri-business, farming, construction, retail, trucking, nonprofits and various types of manufacturing.
