Content Manager

The Content Manager is responsible for leading the content strategy and execution across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand goals and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and creative skills, with a proven track record of producing high-quality, strategic content. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, overseeing content creation for digital platforms, marketing materials, website updates, social media, and more, while maintaining brand consistency and maximizing audience reach.

Reporting to the VP of External Affairs, this individual will oversee content creation from concept to delivery, driving content initiatives that resonate with target audiences and support business objectives.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the content strategy across multiple channels, ensuring brand consistency and a compelling voice.
  • Oversee content creation for social media, marketing campaigns, websites, email newsletters, and other digital or print materials.
  • Collaborate with a team of content creators, editors, and designers to produce high-quality content that engages and informs target audiences.
  • Produce content and manage OSCPA podcast.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and other departments to align content with business goals and campaigns.
  • Ensure the content is optimized for SEO and aligned with best practices for audience engagement and performance tracking.
  • Develop editorial calendars and ensure content is delivered on time, maintaining a clear process for content approval and publishing.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights for future content creation.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging content formats, and audience behavior to continuously improve content strategies.
  • Oversee the management and updating of the company website and other content-rich platforms, ensuring fresh and relevant content.
  • Maintain a collaborative and innovative team environment, mentoring team members and fostering their growth.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field, or 7+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in content strategy, creation, and management with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Expertise in SEO best practices, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience with social media content creation, community management, and paid advertising strategies.
  • Ability to lead a project, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong creative thinking with the ability to adapt content to various formats and platforms.

Creative Services Specialist

The Creative Services Specialist plays a key role in designing and developing visually compelling content across various mediums. The ideal candidate will possess strong creative skills to effectively communicate brand messaging and engage target audiences, often collaborating closely with other team members to bring ideas to life. 

Reporting to the Creative Services Manager, this individual will deliver high-quality visual content for various channels, including social media, marketing materials, website, video production and the CPA Voice magazine. 


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute graphic design projects across multiple platforms, including social media posts, marketing collateral, and CPA Voice magazine layout.
  • Regularly update website content, ensuring the site remains functional, responsive, and user-friendly by identifying and fixing any issues.
  • Oversee and manage the creation and scheduling of social media content, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging community interaction.
  • Support the marketing team in delivering various marketing initiatives, including campaigns, email designs, and promotional materials.
  • Work closely with other teams to align web content with ongoing campaigns and brand guidelines.
  • Assist with video production tasks, including live-streaming events, webinars, and other video projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure design and marketing materials align with overall organizational branding and goals.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and industry best practices to continually improve design quality and efficiency.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), and video editing software.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and experience with content creation and community management.
  • Proven experience in website management, content updating, or web design.
  • Basic video production and live-streaming experience or an interest in learning video production.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
