the status quo since John Snyder broke away from the big-firm chaos in 1990,
and we don't plan on slowing that innovation down. We are a timeless
culture - we don't bill by the hour and we don't track every 5 minutes of our
day.
We
are driven by the uncompromising belief that our businesses exists to make a
profit by building lasting relationships: with our team, our clients, our
communities and with everyone we connect with. We know that Main Street
is the heartbeat of America, and that by making a difference in the lives
of our clients, we are building the fabric of our communities.

While it sounds trite to say we're "not like other CPA firms", we literally hear that all the time. We are a second generation firm with a team of professionals with diverse talents that love going rouge, challenging the stereotype that accounting is "boring". In 2008 the Journal of Accountancy recognized us as a Firm of Future. We ditched the time sheet and billable hour models way back then. We have built a relationship-centered business model - we focus on people, not minutes.
We have continued to live that mantra every day. When Covid hit in 2020, we pivoted as a team and within 24 hours we were fully functioning in a remote world. Because of our culture point of Balance we were mostly there already.
The most significant benefit we offer is an solid, intentionally built, well articulated culture that guides our daily actions. Everything we do flows from that culture.
