In this episode we spoke with Dr. Timothy Hinkel, assistant professor of accounting at the Dauch College of Business and Economics at Ashland University about Ashland's plans to bring students and faculty back to campus this fall and ensure feelings of safety. Hinkel offers a unique perspective as he was abroad during the coronavirus outbreak in early March, and returned from a school trip with some of the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio. We discuss what that experience was like, how Ashland's campus will look this fall, the lasting impact the pandemic could have on universities and more.
