Politicos on the Move: Aug. 1, 2025

Senate President Pro Tempore Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) said on July 31 he intends to seek the Senate presidency for the 137th General Assembly (2027 – 2028) after current Senate President Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) leaves due to term limits. 

Senate Finance Chairman Jerry Cirino (R-Kirkland) also intends to seek the Senate presidency next General Assembly.
