Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel announced the results of the January TechCred application period in which 566 employers were awarded funds, providing the opportunity for Ohioans to earn 7,681 tech-focused credentials.
The Ohio TechCred program is a training reimbursement program unique to Ohio aimed to aid Ohio employers in building a stronger workforce with the skills needed in a technology-infused economy.
“The strength of Ohio’s economy depends on a skilled workforce,” said Gov. DeWine. “Through TechCred, we’re empowering businesses to invest in their employees and ensuring Ohioans have the tools to succeed.”
