Ohio will be holding another primary election on Aug. 2 for Ohio Senate and Ohio House candidates. Turnout in August elections are typically very light, making your vote that much more important on these key races. Take advantage of your constitutional right to vote!
Here are important dates not to miss:
August 1: Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by this date
August 2: Primary/Special Election: Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
August 2: Absentee Ballots May Be Returned by Mail (postmarked by Aug. 1) or Personally Delivered to Your County Board of Elections. If Not Returned by Mail, Absentee Ballots Must Be Received by Your Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m.
August 12: Last day for boards to receive mail-in ballots that have been postmarked on or before August 1.
