Ohio’s small to medium-sized businesses depend on company-sponsored retirement plans to help employees and owners prepare for the future. Just as each company is unique, retirement plans can differ significantly. A plan that fits one business might not be a match for another. But how is a business to know what type of retirement plan is a fit? Often, they look to CPAs for help in funding, structuring and reporting on those plans. Why should I participate?

Understanding is the goal of the Ohio CPAs Company-Sponsored Retirement Plan Study. By surveying CPAs who work with Ohio’s small to medium-sized businesses, we hope to discover more about the needs, questions and concerns Ohio’s businesses have about retirement. Your confidential responses will help us identify topics and issues that matter most to Ohio’s business community.

Once complete, our friends at MGO, a respected Cleveland firm that has been providing plan consulting and administration services for businesses since 1939, will share the results with respondents. Additionally, the issues, questions and topics revealed in the study will help both MGO and OSCPA better plan articles, seminars and other learning events designed to help CPAs serve their clients in company-sponsored retirement.
