What has been the highlight of your career?

“The highlights are connecting people. Where I get satisfaction is connecting organizations, connecting clients and connecting people to resources they need.”

Is there any life advice that resonated with you?

“Young accountants are encouraged to get involved in some community activity to develop business and contacts. I took that seriously early on. What’s important is not just getting involved to get involved. Get involved with places where you’re comfortable, where you’re going to make a difference. Don’t go looking for business, if you serve those organizations well the business will find you. That was great advice because it gave me permission to pursue things that interested me.”
