This week's CPA of Ohio is Katie Moline, CPA, senior audit accountant at GBQ Partners LLC and Toledo City Council member.

What do you like to do in your free time?

"I was appointed to Toledo City Council in January.  Now, much of my free time is spent calling constitutes, drafting legislation and analyzing the City of Toledo’s budget."

What activities do you enjoy doing during the stay at home order?

“At our house, the two enjoying the stay-at-home order the most are my cat Stas and my rescue dog Roscoe.  Roscoe and I go for a walk every day in my neighborhood.  Plus they both like to grab a snooze next to me while I’m doing my audit work and analyzing financial statements.  My husband, Phil, and I have also been doing some deep cleaning projects that we put off until now, since we’ve run out of excuses to procrastinate.  I’ve also been getting a lot of social Zoom calls.”    

What’s your favorite part about being a CPA?

"Having that relationship of trust with my clients; I truly enjoy helping others."
