This week's CPA of Ohio is Morgan Hoehn, CPA, audit associate at KPMG. Morgan had her CPA certificate made into a blanket so it can keep her warm instead of just hanging on the wall.

Do you have a favorite piece of life advice someone has told you that has stuck with you?

“My life advice actually comes from within myself after studying for the CPA exam. ‘The quicker you figure out how YOU learn best, the easier and more manageable every goal becomes. Just because it is not in a book, instructions or guidelines does not mean your way won’t get you there."

What’s your favorite children’s story and why?

“Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans. Madeline is feisty and brave. No matter what life threw at her, she never let it break her. From Madeline, I learned to be proud of my scars, they show the battles of life that which we have overcome.”
