Reminder: Sales and use tax returns due June 23

The Ohio Department of Taxation is reminding all sales and use tax practitioners and taxpayers that May 2025 monthly sales and use tax returns are due on June 23, 2025. Returns must be filed for each period the account is active. 

Filing options 

Taxpayers have two options for filing sales and use tax returns: 

• File online at gateway.ohio.gov/. 

• Call 800.697.0440 to use TeleFile for county vendor's licenses (vendor's license numbers starting with 01-88).
