AICPA recommends scaling back Section 199A QBI deduction limitation 

Section 199A generally allows owners of pass-through entities to deduct 20% of the owner’s QBI earned in a qualified trade or business. 

Ohio proposal to strip marijuana tax revenue from local governments blasted 

Hamilton County and Anderson Township officials criticized a state proposal to strip marijuana tax revenue from local governments and instead send it to Ohio’s general fund, saying a Senate bill defies the will of the voters who legalized recreational cannabis use in 2023.
