OSCPA announces leadership transition

After 12 years of exceptional service as President & CEO, Scott Wiley will be stepping down from his role, effective January 13, 2025. During his tenure, Scott has led OSCPA to remarkable achievements, including: 

 

  • Establishing OSCPA as an industry leader in protecting and strengthening the CPA profession through innovative and dynamic legislation,  
  • Prioritizing the creation of one of the nation’s largest and most inclusive CPA pipelines and  
  • Elevating the influence of CPAs as trusted business advisors and counselors across all industries.  

We are pleased to announce that Laura Hay, OSCPA’s Executive Vice President and a nationally respected thought leader, will succeed Scott as President & CEO on January 13, 2025. Laura will be the first female CEO and CPA to lead our century-old organization, bringing deep institutional knowledge to OSCPA’s mission. She has dedicated her career to OSCPA, enhancing the profession’s reputation and strengthening its impact across Ohio and beyond.
