This week’s CPA of Ohio is Christy Wright, CPA, tax manager at Plante Moran.
When did you first know you wanted to be a CPA?
“I think I first knew in high school when I took an accounting class. I am very detail oriented, and I like things balanced. Everything just clicked with me when I took that class.”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I’m a big runner. I like to run and do yoga. I am also in a volleyball league. During quarantine I have tried to learn new activities, I have picked up piano, so I do that too.”
Is there any life advice someone has given you that really resonated?
“Take the time to separate work life from personal life. I try to block off time to go for a run every day. That really helps keep me stay balanced especially during busy season.”
