This week's CPA of Ohio is Sydney Erickson, CPA, tax senior tax manager at Crowe LLP.

What do you like to do in your free time?

“In my free time I like to spend time with family. I come from a pretty large family. My mom is one of eight girls in her family, so I have a lot of cousins. I grew up spending a lot of time with my family and I really like to be with them and build those connections and memories.”

What’s your favorite part about being a CPA?

“The continual learning that I get to do. I really love to learn and figure out new things. I think in this profession, especially with all the law changes and regulation changes there’s constant learning. Advising my clients and building those relationships so I can be that trusted advisor. For me it’s great to learn new things. There’s never a dull moment at all.”
