    The typical urban millennial carries significant debt, a new LendingTree study found. It revealed that the median debt balance for millennials living in the 50 biggest U.S. cities is $23,064. Columbus came in at number 10 on the list.

    2019 Social Security COLA expected to be 2.8%

    A nonpartisan advocacy group is now predicting that Social Security benefits will increase by about 2.8% in 2019. Although that's down slightly from an earlier estimate, it still would be the largest benefit boost in seven years, according to The Senior Citizens League.

    ODT updates Ohio’s income tax residency information

    Because of recent changes to Ohio’s income tax residency standards, the Ohio Department of Taxation has updated Information Release IT 2015-02 (applicable to tax years 2015 through 2017), and has issued Information Release IT 2018-01 (applicable to tax years 2018 and forward).
