From CPA to convicted felon: One accountant’s harrowing story

In this episode we spoke to Helen Sharkey about her experience of being pressured to cross ethical lines at work and how it resulted in an SEC investigation with her ultimately ending up in a federal prison. We discussed what those ethical pressures escalate, what the SEC investigation was like, how it felt going to prison and the steps she took to piece her life back together afterward.
