DOT issues sales and use tax filing reminder

The Ohio Department of Taxation is reminding all sales and use tax practitioners and taxpayers that the due date for January 2025 Sales and Use Tax Returns is Feb. 24, 2025. 

Returns must be filed for each period the account is active. 

There are two options for filing sales and use tax returns: 

• File online at ohio.gov 

• Call 800.697.0440 to use TeleFile for county vendor's licenses (vendor's license numbers starting with 01-88)
