The Destination Ohio CPA program is taking off! Beginning Monday, October 21st, UWorld licenses will be available to support CPA exam prep for qualified students and working professionals. This program, funded by the Accountancy Board of Ohio’s Education Assistance Fund, reflects OSCPA’s continuing intent to nurture Ohio’s emerging accounting talent, increase the CPA pipeline and deliver meaningful professional development aligned with employer needs.
The program uses a cohort model to provide participants with a network of professionals working toward the same goal. As part of the program, participants will receive professional development content from OSCPA’s Business Success Skills Program along with access to a variety of Uworld’s renowned resources and expertise. Cohort discussions led by seasoned accounting practitioners will occur to support candidates as they progress through the exam.
The program is limited to 30 individuals and registration began the week of September 16th. Approved individuals will be given access to the site before the kickoff in October and will receive a digital badge upon completion.
Please note: complimentary licenses will be provided to professionals who otherwise do not have employer financial support to cover test materials. Individuals employed at a public accounting firm that covers the cost of CPA exam materials can still participate in the program and register for a license; OSCPA will bill the firm to cover the license cost.
