In January, the Ohio Department of Taxation launched phase 2 of the OH|TAX eServices project to update the systems for managing Ohio’s Sales and Use, Employer and School District Withholding, Public Utility Personal Property, Natural Gas, and Public Utility Excise taxes. The new system will go live on Dec. 9, 2024, enhancing the “banking experience” introduced in September 2023. For updates, visit tax.ohio.gov/info/ohtax.
ODT is seeking tax professionals to join a stakeholder user group for OH|TAX eServices. This group will provide feedback and participate in testing. On-site system testing is planned for the last few weeks of September, with multiple dates and times available.
