Letter from the Executive Director

Dear Donors and Friends,

Last month, at our Donor Appreciation Breakfast in Dayton, I met one of the Foundation’s outstanding 2017 scholarship winners. Joe White, an accounting major at Wright State University, is everything you’d want to see in a scholarship recipient. Bright, well-spoken, outgoing, and passionate about accounting and his future career as a CPA. And, to the pleasure of each of the donors in the room, Joe very sincerely expressed his gratitude for his scholarship award.

As a Foundation donor, you make this possible. You help students like Joe complete their accounting education with a little less financial burden. You help students like Joe experience the privilege of being recognized by the CPA community he will soon be joining. The Foundation’s College Scholarship Program really does makes a difference in students’ lives!

In this issue of IMPACT, you can read more about our scholarship program and this year’s recipients.

We’re also excited to announce the charter members of the 1956 Legacy Society. These special donors have included The Ohio CPA Foundation in their estate plans as a way to support the Foundation in the future and leave a lasting legacy. Our charter members solidify the Foundation’s planned giving program and give us so much momentum as we continue to promote this important way to support the Foundation in years to come.

Thank you for making all we do possible – and for investing in the future of the CPA profession!

As always, please contact me if you have any questions or if you’d like to learn more. You can reach me at kwest@ohiocpa.com or (800) 686-2727 ext. 2235.
