OSCPA Connect! events draw crowds

Written on Dec 14, 2015

This fall, we launched a variety of OSCPA Connect! events across the state. On behalf of The Ohio Society of CPAs, thank you to all of the attendees who made these events an overwhelming success. Whether you have recently joined the profession or have a few years under your belt, taking advantage of The Ohio Society’s Young CPA programming is the best way to meet peers and Society leaders.

Were you at one of these great networking events? Be sure to catch the next one!

  • Columbus: On Nov. 17, the Columbus Young CPAs joined forces with The Columbus Bar Association, The Financial Planning Association & The Institute of Internal Auditors on the Sky Level Terrace for our fifth annual networking night at the Blue Jackets game! This was a great chance to make important connections with other professionals in the accounting and legal industry. Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Nationwide Insurance, as well as our general sponsors, CMax Advisors, Robert Half Legal, Robert Half Management Resources and Schneider Downs & Co. Over 200 joined in on the fun!

  • Dayton: On Dec. 1, the Dayton Young CPAs hosted a beer tasting at Warped Wing Brewery for an informative tour of the brewery and an exclusive tasting session. This sold out event was a great opportunity to connect with peers and take a break from the office.

  • Toledo: On Oct. 21, the Toledo Young CPAs gathered at Maumee Bay Brewing Company for a tour of the brewery and a networking happy hour. The group enjoyed appetizers, drinks while making valuable connections.

  • Youngstown: On Nov. 12, the Youngstown Young CPAs gathered at Suzie's Dogs & Drafts for an evening of networking and relaxation. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to connect before the business of the holiday season.
