OSCPA member Patty Basti, CPA, has been named managing partner of the Cincinnati office of KPMG.
Notably, she is also the first female partner to lead the Cincinnati firm.

She replaces fellow Society member Mike Comer, CPA, who was recently promoted to partner in charge of KPMG’s U.S. Tax Operations.
Basti has been with KPMG for 19 years, in two different stints. All have been in its Cincinnati office. She has been leader of its Internal Audit & Enterprise Risk practice in Cincinnati since she rejoined the firm in 2007. Basti will retain that
role, in which she focuses on internal controls, risk management, compliance and risk-based internal audits, in addition to serving as managing partner.
