CPA of Ohio: Corinne Hartline

by Jessica Salerno | Sep 28, 2021
This week's CPA of Ohio is Corinne Hartline, senior accounting student at Kent State University.

Do you have a favorite piece of life advice you've been given?

My tennis coach in high school told us that the only thing that matters is what you're doing when you're doing it. So like right now, for example, the only thing that matters is this conversation we're having because I should be devoting my full attention to you and not going through Instagram on the side or something. So I think that's very helpful for pretty much any situation.
If you weren't studying accounting, what do you think you'd be doing instead?
Probably something like physical therapy, or I was interested in like speech pathology. But more as a concept rather than a job. But that was something that I did think about, or possibly teaching.
