Thank you letter writers!

Thank you to the 193 current and 111 future CPAs who took the time to write in support of increasing the time candidates have to pass the CPA Exam. The issue from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy’s (NASBA’s) Uniform Accountancy Act Committee proposes expanding the amount of time CPA candidates have to pass all four parts of the CPA Exam from the current 18 months to 24 months. OSCPA supports increasing the amount of time to pass all four parts of the Exam to at least 36 months. The proposed rule is now back before NASBA, where they will weigh possible changes in response to the hundreds of comments received from Ohio and across the country.  Watch OSCPA news publications for updates on this issue in the future.
