Sales and use tax filing deadline reminder 
The Ohio Department of Taxation reminds all sales and use tax practitioners and taxpayers that the March 2023 monthly sales and use tax returns and first quarter 2023 use tax returns are due April 24. Taxpayers must file sales and use tax returns electronically via the Ohio Business Gateway. 

Gwyneth Paltrow’s $1 ski trial win has a strange tax twist 
Jurors awarded Gwyneth Paltrow $1 in damages at her ski trial, ruling Dr. Terry Sanderson was 100% at fault in the 2016 collision on the slopes at Deer Valley Utah. If Paltrow only got $1 and attorney fees, how could there be a tax angle?
