Mike Fritz, CPA, named NASBA vice chair

OSCPA member Michael Fritz, CPA, of Blacklick this week was named candidate for NASBA vice-chair.

Fritz is a past member of OSCPA’s Executive Board and has served the Society in several capacities, including the Audit and Endorsement committees, and, most recently, the Ohio CPA Foundation Development Committee. He has also served as chair of the Accountancy Board of Ohio. 

He has been an active member of NASBA for 11 years and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2013. Fritz as a senior partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP in June 2019 after 40 years of service. He served as a partner with Deloitte since 1988, and most recently served as the national industry professional practice director for the Public Sector Industry as well as a lead client service partner. 

A 1978 graduate of Ohio University, Fritz is a co-founder and current treasurer of the Gahanna Jefferson Education Foundation as well as the treasurer of Mifflin Presbyterian Church. He has been married for 37 years and has two children and one grandchild.
