Tax departments must be able to adapt to changing legislation, resource constraints and the increased need for operational efficiencies. 

“Now more than ever, there is an opportunity to re-engineer the tax department through process improvement and technology adoption,” states the article from BDO, USA LLP in the July/August issue of CPA Voice. “However, transformation doesn’t happen overnight. Businesses should first take a step back and analyze themselves across four dimensions — process, data, technology and people — to assess their starting point.”
