While full repeal of the ACA is all but dead, tax reform is very much alive and it is tax changes — namely reduced tax rates — that the markets are craving, according to political analyst and former tax attorney Andy Friedman.

Ohio House proposes bill to eliminate marriage penalty tax
Two Ohio state representatives have introduced a bipartisan bill to eliminate the state's marriage penalty tax. State Reps. John Becker (R-Union Township) and David Leland (D-Columbus) introduced House Bill 333 Aug. 31, which would allow married couples the option of filing separately on their state tax returns.
